KUCHING, June 5: The 21st edition of Le French Festival (LeFF 2023) makes its Sarawak premiere in Kuching this month, showcasing 15 contemporary award-winning French films.
LeFF 2023 movie screening will take place at Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) at CityONE Megamall here from June 22nd till 25th.
In celebration of French culture and films, the organiser Alliance Francaise de Malaisie is giving away 100 promo codes: FFFSMG0000088 for Kuching cinephiles to enjoy the movies with discount.
Here is a summary of a few LeFF 2023 movies:
The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan
D’Artagnan sets off to Paris to find his attackers after being left for dead, which leads him into the heart of a real war where the future of France is at stake. Allied with the King’s three musketeers, Athos, Porthos and Aramis, D’Artagnan faces the dark machinations of the Cardinal of Richelieu.
Tenor
This comedy tells the story of accounting student and rapper enthusiast Antoine who takes on opera singing lessons, but hides it from his family and friends for fear of repercussions.
The Innocent
Abel freaks out when he learns that his 60-year-old mother Sylvie is about to marry a man in prison, Michel, but meeting his new stepfather may well offer him a new perspective.
