KUALA LUMPUR, 11th August 2021 – The search for Borneo’s best dance group starts now! Juh Battle! is a competitive dance reality show, created and executive produced by Tiara Jacquelina, under her company Enfiniti (M) Sdn Bhd.
Hosted by award-winning Sarawakian Hip-Hop artist/Deejay Arabyrd and led by a team of mentor-judges who are extraordinary dance icons – multiple award-winner and international performer Suhaili Micheline, Sarawak’s very own international dance sensation Raziman Sarbini, and Malaysian Hip-Hop dance legend and creative director Boojae Fadzil.

Produced by Enfiniti for TVS (formerly TV Sarawak), Juh Battle! gives dancers from all over Borneo the platform to showcase their talents, for the opportunity to win a grand prize of RM30,000 and the title of Borneo’s Best Dance Group. This high-energy dance competition show will see dance groups go head-to-head, through weekly challenges and surprises.
The show, directed by Irwan Rauf, is scheduled to be aired at the end of 2021 on TVS – channel 122 on Astro, MyFreeview and YouTube.
The aim is to bring communities together through the power of dance, and as a platform to showcase the best dancers from East Malaysia. 16 teams will be mentored, coached and judged by a panel of celebrity dance icons, who are each highly respected professionals with international dance experience. The winning dance group will also experience national exposure.
Juh Battle! is created and produced by acclaimed Malaysian entertainment icon Tiara Jacquelina, best known for producing and starring in the movie Puteri Gunung Ledang, as well as the highly successful stage musical version.

We also haven’t seen a dance reality show on TV for years, so it could be just what we all need to lift our spirits right now!”
Always ahead of the curve and setting new benchmarks for the film and musical theatre industry, the Enfiniti team will be introducing a new hybrid format of reality TV filming in the new normal, which will take into consideration interstate travel restrictions, and the latest film industry SOPs, which include a production “bubble” for the entire production team as well as participants.
Dance groups from all over Sarawak & Sabah will undergo online auditions. The host and entire competition process will be filmed at the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) Auditorium in Kuching. The mentor-judges’ segments will be filmed at the Enfiniti Black Box Theatre in KL, as well as through an online platform.
Our goal is to produce a TV show that can reach out to and inspire the people of Borneo – through a medium as popular and engaging as DANCE. We hope that young people watching the show will be inspired to adopt and integrate quickly into the new, fast-moving world of digital technology and social media, and be brave enough to compete with the best in the world.
A reality show like Juh Battle! will teach people about the importance of having dreams and ambition, working hard, discipline, resourcefulness, integrity and resilience.
Note : Auditions are open to dance groups of any dance style.
Eligibility Criteria
01 • Applicants must have promising dancing abilities (and showcase a strength in at least one dance style: contemporary, ballet, breakdancing etc.)
02• Dance groups must have at least 2 members and a maximum of 8 members.
03• Applicants must be Malaysian citizens, living in Sarawak & Sabah.
04 • Contestants must be at least 15 years old at the time of the audition submission. Those under 18 years old are required to obtain their parent or guardian’s permission to enter. There is no maximum age limit.
05• In each dance group, at least one team member must be aged 18 years old.
Casting Video Requirements
01 • State your dance group’s name and briefly introduce each member (Name, Age, etc)
02• The duration of your video must not be longer than 5 minutes.
03• You and your group must wear appropriate and presentable clothing during the video. (Sportswear is fine, but you have to wear shoes.)
04• Shoot your video in a well-lit setting. Make sure we can see your performance clearly.
05• Shoot your video in landscape mode, 16:9 format or static mode. This means that we suggest using a tripod or videographer to shoot, so the video camera stays in one place (No moving around or zooming in/out).
06• Check your video before submitting it and make sure the audio can be heard clearly. Send your video file in either MP4 or MOV format.
07• Upload and attach the video file onto our online application form, that can be found on our website ( www.enfiniti.com.my ) via the ‘Auditions’ Tab.
APPLICATION STEPS
01 •. Fill out the application form. Make sure the submitted application contains all the correct information or the form will be rejected.
02 • Upload your casting video and team photograph.
03 • Complete only one application form per dance group, with each contestant’s information. (1 dance group = 1 application form)
04 •. Double-check your application form. Then, click Submit. Good luck!
If your dance group is selected, you will receive a call from our casting team for official confirmation. The deadline to submit your application is Tuesday, 31st August 2021.
