KUCHING: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has granted audiences to leaders of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) component parties via video conferencing to be held at the Chief Minister’s Office on Monday (June 14) at 11am.
It is understood that a series of high-level meetings are carried out, in view of a possible new political landscape amidst the ongoing Emergency Proclamation to end in August.
The GPS component parties comprise of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) led by its president and Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) president Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian, Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing and Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) president Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing.
