KUCHING, 26 Jan: Famous Hong Kong comedian Stephen Chow will be ‘celebrating’ with fans and their families at their homes during the upcoming Chinese New Year courtesy of TVS that will be airing two of his iconic movies.
Catch him on TVS as the shyster Sung in the movie ‘Justice, My Foot!’ that will be shown on the first day of the Chinese New Year (Tuesday 1 February 2022), and as delivery boy Ho Kam-An in the film ‘Love On Delivery’ on the second day (Wednesday 2 February 2022).
‘Justice, My Foot!’
This movie is about Sung (Chow) who is well-known for being a notorious lawyer, and it impacts his ability to have a family. However, after he successfully defends a murderer’s case, shyster Sung retires from his job to make amends for his own mistakes and wrongdoings.
Directed by Johnnie To with a cast that included Anita Mui and Ng Man-Tat, the movie enabled Chow to win the Best Actor Award at the Asia Pacific Film Festival in 1992.
‘Love On Delivery’
Delivery boy, Ho Kam-An (Chow), falls in love with a client named Lily. A bully Judo Master Black Bear is also interested in Lily, and he ends up beating Ho when Ho attempts to woo her.
Directed by Lee Lik-chi in 1994, this romantic comedy also starred Christy Chung and Ng Man-tat.
