TARAT, 30 Oct: Deputy Chief Minister, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, today visited a pilot crawfish breeding project belonging to Thian Yen Aquaculture Sdn Bhd at Tarat.
He was impressed by what he saw as the company had been able to produce four-month-old commercial-size crawfish.
“The company has also been able to raise the crawfish in ponds from the tanks. It is now planning to prepare new ponds in its expansion plan. There is good news for interested farmers in the State,” Uggah said. -TVS
