Covid-19: Three Fatalities Involving Octogenarians

KUCHING, Sept 12: Three octogenarians were among the eight new casualties reported due to Covid 19.

The first casualty involves a 86-year-old man who hailed from Asajaya has history of high blood pressure, after he was tested positive on Sept 8.

The second fatality was an 81-year-old Kuching man who was dected positive on aug 31. The victim however, has no known illnesses.

Third and fourth death comprise of two Kuching men aged 38 and 46 years old who were tested positive on Sept 10 and Sept 8 respectively. With no known illnesses.

All four patients passed away at the Sarawak General Hospital.

While, the fifth case involved a 84-year-old patient with co- morbidities, was tested positive on Sept 7, and was pronounced dead at the Sibu Hospital.

The remaining three victims who succumbed to the virus at Bintulu Hospital. The sixth case, was a 73-year-old man with no health history who was tested positive.

A 31-year-old man the youngest death reported today, who suffered from hepatitis was tested positive on Sept 8.

Meanwhile, a 68-year-old who had underlying illnesses was tested positive on Aug 24, making it the eight case reported bringing the cumulative number to 625.
