KUCHING: You may be familiar with the Malay saying ‘bagai jatuh ditimpa tangga’, which roughly means experiencing a problem that is worsened by another problem.
However, for Faizal Madhi, the phrase could be tweaked to ‘bagai Jatuh ditimpa tile’ after his precious luxury multi-purpose vehicle was hit by a ceramic tile that fell from a commercial building along Jalan Kulas here.
In a video he posted on Tiktok recently, Faizal said his car was parked in an area behind a commercial centre in Satok when the tile fell, hitting the front part of his car directly.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident.
“If you have any business in the area, make sure you don’t park your car anywhere near this building. It is advisable to park somewhere further,” said the 34-year-old man.
He also requested his viewers to share the video so that it reaches out to more people.
Faizal had also lodged a police report as proof to claim for insurance coverage and any damage from the organisation that could be held accountable for the incident.
