KUCHING, Aug 5: Renowned Malaysian singer and actress, Erra Fazira has expressed her strong interest in collaborating with state-owned television station, TVS.
The acclaimed celebrity, known for her illustrious career in entertainment, shared her desire to explore new opportunities within Sarawak’s dynamic and rapidly growing media industry.
“I want to produce something that can capture the people’s interest here such as a travelogue highlighting Sarawak’s rural areas.
“This way, I can showcase Sarawak’s beauty, especially to those in Peninsular Malaysia,” she said in an exclusive interview with TVS, recently.
Erra also expressed her interest in producing and directing a drama show but revealed that the timing does not fit her schedule at the moment.
When asked about conducting a masterclass on acting or singing, Erra said that she is happy to share her experiences with aspiring newcomers.
“For now, I can only mentor new actors and singers on a project-by-project basis.
“I haven’t had the opportunity to conduct a formal class to teach the newcomers about acting or singing yet,” she added.
Erra was in town recently and she is set to appear as guest on TVS’ Fir & Afick Tonight Show on 11th August. – TVS
