Commencing her career as TVS’ broadcast journalist and English News Anchor in 2018, Sheera swiftly established her presence. In 2020, she temporarily joined TVS’ research team for the state election (PRN) and general election (PRU).
From that pivotal moment onward, this 29-year-old Kabong native engaged with a spectrum of politicians, including ministers and state assembly members. Through a series of insightful interviews, she delved into the intricate workings of politics, broadening her understanding.
Simultaneously, Sheera played an active role in shaping election-related programs like “Sarawak Decides” and “Malaysia Decides,” skillfully juggling the roles of host and researcher.
A crowning achievement emerged when Sheera interviewed Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg during the 2021 “Townhall bersama CM Abang Jo“.
These indelible experiences propelled her ascent, illuminating her presence on TVS’ News & Current Affairs lineup. From the live coverage of the 2023 Budget presentation in “Bajet 2023” to the dynamic ‘Dialog TVS,’ Sheera’s profile grew increasingly luminous.
While synonymous with serious talk shows, Sheera embraced a unique challenge by hosting a cooking show during Ramadan, revealing a different facet of her personality alongside her co-host, Orden Sham. This showcased her multifaceted personality, reflecting her adaptability and growth as a media professional.
