TVS Chief Executive Officer, Suhaimi Sulaiman will speak at the Mini Film Festival (MFF) webinar this Thursday, 29 April 2021. Exchanging views on the topic, ‘Films Consumption Post Covid-19’ alongside Suhaimi will be industry experts Ifa Isfansyah, Juliana Low and Sharmine Ishak, opening up this year’s MFF series of webinar.
Suhaimi is a well-known broadcast personality and media strategist in Malaysia paired with his vast experience in leading Astro AWANI and BERNAMA previously. He currently heads TVS as its Chief Executive Officer.
Ifa Isfansyah is the founder and director of Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival and founded the Jogja Film Academy in 2014, launching the career of many young Indonesian filmmakers. Public Relations and Branding Manager of Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), Sharmine Ishak, will provide insights on how GSC endured the drawbacks of the pandemic. Viu’s Content Acquisition and Programming expert, Juliana Low, meanwhile, will be the rose among the thorns with 21 years of experience in the broadcast and content business.
“Research has demonstrated that media consumption taste has shifted during the pandemic. By participating in the webinar, it will provide insights to audiences particularly filmmakers and content creators who wish to produce content that could potentially get across contemporary audiences post-pandemic.” said MFF Director, Yow Chong Lee.
This webinar is jointly organised by UNIMAS’ Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts, TVS and Perseni and will be live-streamed on Mini Film Festival Facebook on 29th April 2021 (Thursday) at 9pm.
