TORONTO, June 23: Southeast Asia’s Valorant powerhouse, Paper Rex (PRX), made history by claiming their first international Masters title at the Valorant Masters Toronto 2025, defeating European titans Fnatic in the grand final.

Led by in-game leader Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto, the team cruised through the playoffs stage with confident victories over top-tier opponents, including Wolves Esports.

The grand final was billed as a clash of styles as Fnatic’s methodical execution versus PRX’s relentless aggression.

But it was the Singaporean team that set the pace early, taking the first map with an impressive performance from f0rsakeN.

Fnatic responded with a narrow overtime win on the second map, but PRX bounced back on the third, taking the map Pearl 13–10.

They then closed out the series on the fourth map, edging out a tense 14–12 victory on Lotus that brought the Toronto crowd to its feet.

With the win, PRX takes home $350,000 (RM1.5 million) in prize money and secures crucial championship points ahead of the ultimate crown, Valorant Champions 2025 in Paris. – TVS
