KUALA LUMPUR, 7 Nov: Taylor’s School is committed to cultivating an inclusive entrepreneurial mindset among its students, aiming to prepare them as problem-solvers and action-oriented learners.
President and Chief Executive Officer of Taylor’s School, Adjunct Professor BK Gan explained that the private institution emphasizes developing students who can both generate innovative ideas and effectively implement them.
“It is quite encompassing when we talk about entrepreneurial mindset. It is about someone who not only can come out with an innovative idea but actually get it done,” he told TVS after a panel discussion titled ‘The Role of Educators in Today’s World’ this morning.
Also present were Chairman of the Board of Governors of Taylor’s School Tan Sri Alimuddin Mohd Dom and Executive Chairman of Taylor’s Education Group Dato Loy Teik Ngan.
Gan highlighted that high-quality facilities and platforms for competition are essential to fostering an entrepreneurial culture among students.
He also emphasized that without proper resources and programs, students may not be able to reach their full potential.
“There are lot of opportunities within the school to help learner to stretch themselves.
“We have a system in place, we have counsellors in all of our schools that will help our learners – if they should fall, how to help them pick themselves up,” he said.
Additionally, Gan noted that Taylor’s School is committed to developing well-rounded individuals, emphasizing not only academic excellence but also emotional intelligence and digital agility. – TVS
