SINGAPORE, Oct 20: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) 2024 on October 21 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
SIEW is a platform that gathers energy leaders and experts from across the globe to discuss key trends and innovations in the energy sector.
This year’s event is expected to attract significant participation from both government officials and industry leaders.
Abang Johari, who arrived here on Sunday for an official working visit until October 22, is also scheduled for several high-level meetings, including a meeting with the Scottish Minister for Business, Richard Lochhead and discussions with Brunei’s Deputy Minister of Energy Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohamad Azmi Mohd Hanifah.
Abang Johari will also hold several strategic meetings, including with Singapore Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean and Singapore Minister of Education Chan Chun Sing, as well as a meeting with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd.
He is scheduled to fly home on Tuesday. – TVS
