RIYADH, April 29: The collaboration between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia will enhance growth in trade and investment for both countries by focusing on the strengths of each nation in targeted industries, said Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz.
The Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry posted this on X today in conjunction with the World Economic Forum (WEF) Special Meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Tengku Zafrul said during his meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Ibrahim Alkhoreyaf, they both discussed the cooperation opportunities in multiple industrial sectors, especially in high-growth sectors.
The two-day WEF Special Meeting on April 28-29 gathers more than 1,000 global leaders from 92 countries, as well as heads of state and government, thought leaders from public and private sectors, including international organizations, academic institutions and non- governmental organizations with the theme “Global Collaboration, Growth and Energy for Development”. -TVS
