KUCHING, 10 Aug: Four prominent figures in the K-pop scene are set to take the spotlight as headliners for the debut Borneo Sonic Music Festival (BSMF) 2023, scheduled to grace the Sarawak Stadium stage from October 6 to 7.
Touted as Borneo’s biggest music event, Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah revealed that the festival’s lineup will showcase a fusion of local, international, and Australian talents, along with acts from the United States.
“From Korea we would have Taeyang from Big Bang, CL from 2NE1, Hyo from Girls Generation and Suho from EXO, as well as DJ and rapper from Australia, Havana Brown.
“We would also fly in Grammy Award winning rapper from the United States, Fatman Scoop, for the event,” Karim revealed at a press conference held here, today.
At the same time, Managing Director of BME International Sdn Bhd and the event organiser, Steven Au has set an ambitious goal of attracting a crowd of over 30,000 festival-goers to the exhilarating two-day affair.
Commencing from August 18, tickets for BSMF 2023 will be conveniently available for purchase online, featuring a pricing spectrum spanning from RM488 to RM1,288.
