BATANG KALI, Dec 20: The search for the nine remaining missing victims of the landslide incident at Father’s Organic Farm camping site, Gohtong Jaya here, has now entered its fifth day beginning at 8.30 am.
The operation is being conducted in clear weather, involving personnel and assets from multiple agencies including dogs from the K9 Dog Detection Unit.
Yesterday, the operation was suspended at around 12 midnight after failing to find any victims.
The landslide tragedy at 2.42 am on Friday at the camp site had so far claimed the lives of 24 people, with 61 survivors and nine still missing from a total of 94 victims. – TVS
