KUCHING, Nov 5: The main road outside the Kuching South City Council Community Hall nomination centre here was packed with fanfare demonstrating support for their candidates contesting in the 15th general election (GE15).
GPS enthusiastic supporters, marched to the nomination centre and arrived at 9am, waving the party’s flag.
Eric Tay, who is contesting the Bandar Kuching for the first time, was accompanied by his proposer Bong Lian Huan and seconder Lucas Yong.
MBKS Mayor, Dato Wee Hong Seng was also among the crowd of supporters during GPS’ parade to the nomination centre.
Meanwhile, DAP candidate Dr Kelvin Yii arrived at 8.45am and was accompanied by his proposer YB Violet Yong and seconder Choo Chiew Jun.
PSB candidate Voon Lee Shan was the first to arrived at the nomination centre at 8:35am, accompanied by Lee Li sia, his proposer and Lim Sing Yee, his seconder.
