KUCHING, Aug. 25 : GoBald 2022 continues to raise funds through its satellite shaves.

The campaign aims at supporting Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society (SCCS) to provide care and relief for children and families who are battling childhood cancer in Sarawak.

SCCS President Rodney Wong said, “GoBald satellite shaves are essentially a mini GoBald event for the respective community at participating schools, organisations and corporations to pool resources to help raise funds and increase awareness of childhood cancer.

He added that the event itself is a more targeted and efficient fundraising approach which also gives businesses and organisations an opportunity to give back to the society.

“Support from schools such as Lodge International School is also very crucial and valuable in our continuous efforts to promote awareness of childhood cancer amongst parents and students.

“Awareness is key to early detection and this enables accurate diagnosis to determine the best possible treatment available for the child,” he said in a statement.

Wong expressed his gratitude for the support and collaboration render among organisations and community.
