KUCHING, 16 March: If you have been eager to travel and explore the land of the Hornbill, the Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) is bringing exciting travel deals and prizes this weekend (March 18 – 20 March 2022) at the Sia Sitok Sarawak Travel Fair 2022.
Take some time off your weekend to visit the fair happening in two districts – Kuching and Miri held at Boulevard Shopping Mall and Bintang Megamall respectively, from 10.00am to 9.00pm.
Visitors will be in awe, as there are over 88 attractive tour packages offered by participating travel agents and travel operators at discounted prices up to 50 percent.
These packages can be enjoyed by both Sarawakians and non-Sarawakians residing in the state with work permits.
Several new packages introduced in the Sia Sitok Sarawak 3.0 campaigns are the two days one night fresh water prawns fishing at Kampung Sepupok Niah in Miri, an exciting golf experience at Miri’s Eastwood Valley Gold & Country Club and the challenging hike at Mount Murud in Limbang.
STB Chief Executive Officer, Sharzede Datu Salleh Askor welcomes all to enjoy the various travel packages offered during the fair as domestic tourism continues to be on of the agency’s focus.
“It is timely since Maswings has increased their flights to cities and towns such as Bintulu, Miri, Limbang, Lawas, Mukah and Sibu.
“Ultimately, this is a golden opportunity for Sarawakians and permanent residents to uncover and rediscover the vast travel gems that exists in their own backyard,” said Sharzede in a press statement.
At the Sia Sitok Sarawak Travel Fair, members of the public can take part in various games and take photos to win attractive prizes.
