Singapore High Commission in KL grateful for help in evacuating its citizen from Kyiv 

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 Feb: The Singapore High Commission in Kuala Lumpur thanked Wisma Putra for helping to evacuate its citizen from Kyiv, Ukraine.

“We are very grateful to Wisma Putra for assisting one of our Singaporeans to evacuate from Kyiv amid difficult circumstances. A friend in need is a friend indeed!” the Singapore High Commission here posted on its official Facebook today.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Dato’ Sri Saifuddin Abdullah informed on Twitter that nine Malaysians together with two dependants and a Singaporean, who were evacuated from Kyiv, had arrived in Poland early today and were received by two Malaysian Embassy officials in the country.

Meanwhile, Wisma Putra tweeted that the convoy arrived at Korczowa-Krakovets border at 5.45 am Malaysian time (Feb 26, 10.45 pm local time). – TVS
