KUCHING, Oct 4: Sarawak reported 1,189 new Covid-19 infections today, bringing the cumulative number to 216,765.
Of the total infections reported,fifteen cases or 1.26 per cent of the total infections reported were under category 3, 4 and 5.
On the breakdown of cases, three cases were under category 3 (Lung infection), category 4 (lung infection and need oxygen) (5), and category 5 (lung infection and ventilator support) (7).
The remaining 1,174 or 98.7 per cent were under category 1 and 2 (asymptomatic and mild symptom) with 371 and 803 cases respectively.
