DEMAK LAUT, September 28: Three men were killed after their car rammed onto a tree along Jalan Bako, this evening.
The single-vehicle-collision took place at 6.30pm and victims were traversing from Kuching to Bako.
It was believed that the sedan car lost control before crashing onto a tree of the road shoulder.
All occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead by paramedics that were summoned to the scene.
However, sources indicate that one of the victim was 26 years of age.
Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department, Chief Superintendent Alexson Naga Chabu when contacted, confirmed the case and said investigation are on going.
The identity of the victims have yet to be established.
The case is now classified under Section 41(!) of the Transportation Act 1987.
Rescue efforts to extricate the bodies from the wreckage were carried out by firefighters from Tabuan Jaya Fire Station.
