KUCHING, 27 Sept – A 22-year-old youth succumbed to his injuries after he was involved in a single-vehicle collision along Jalan Tun Jugah on Sunday.
In the 9:30 pm incident, the deceased who hailed from Taman Sentosa 7th Mile, was believed to be headed to Jalan Lapangan Terbang from city centre when he lost control of his vehicle and swerved into the road divider and rammed into a lamp post.Â
According To Sarawak Traffic Investigation And Enforcement Chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu the youth was pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics due to severe head injuries.
The body was later brought to Sarawak General Hospital for further action.Â
The case is pending investigation under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. – TVS
