69.6% of Malaysia’s Adult Population Fully Vaccinated

KUCHING: Malaysia is on the right track to achieve herd immunity with 69.6 % of the adult population now fully vaccinated as at 11.59pm on September 7.

Meanwhile, 88.9% of the adult population had received at least one dose of the vaccine.

In the same development, Malaysia cumulative number for vaccines administered under the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) is now at 37,071,789.

Out of the total, 63.7% (20,814,413) of the total population had received their first dose while 49.9% (16,299,881) had completed their two-dose vaccination.
