KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth Chief Gerald Rentap Jabu rendered his fullest support towards the new Federal Cabinet, especially with the appointment of Members of Parliament (MPs) from Sarawak.
These comprise of eight MPs from Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and two MPs from Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (BERSATU).
Hence, with the reappointment to some posts and several new appointments, the Federal Government recognises the State’s capabilities in administering the country.
“The PBB Youth believes with the new Ministerial Cabinet announced yesterday, it will not only stabilise the political environment of the country but also be more efficient in managing the pandemic whilst ensuring economic recovery for the well-being of its people,” said Rentap.
“As a representative from the party’s youth wing, I would like to extend my gratitude towards our Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, for the faith he has in our leaders.”
The Layar Assemblyman added, through the ‘Keluarga Malaysia’ approach, the Federal Government should be able to foster good teamwork across all political parties to enable the nation to win in the fight against the pandemic.
“I am confident that all of the appointed Ministers will be able to bear the trust and responsibilities as well as fulfill their duties during this challenging time,” said Gerald.
