KUCHING, 19 July 2021 – The mere mention of Sarawak will automatically bring to mind its lush rainforests, wildlife, spirit of patriotism and diversity through its multi-ethnic groups.
What a better way to capture the beauty that is Sarawak if not through entertainment contents such as documentaries, magazines, drama series, telemovies, feature films, game shows and reality shows! It is encouraged that these contents are produced in local dialects.
In its bid to encourage local talents to pitch their ideas, TVS will once again be providing a platform through Pitch-It 2021, back bigger than ever this year!
Launched on 10th October last year, TVS continues to encourage local talents to pitch their ideas in this year’s Pitch-It session starting 12th July 2021. Applicants are encouraged to send in more than one idea.
Chief Executive Officer, Suhaimi Sulaiman said that this is an opportunity for all of us to grow the creative content industry, create jobs and make the industry a major contributor to our economy.
“It is time for us to produce content not just for local consumption but also for the export market,” he added.
Overwhelming response from the previous Pitch-It session drives TVS to search and discover more local content creators in providing fresh and inspiring contents. Interested participants can apply online and get more information on the criteria and submission guidelines at www.tvstv.my/pitchit.
The deadline is on 10th of August 2021, Tuesday.
An online briefing on the Pitch-It application process and documentation will be conducted at 3pm this Friday, 23 July 2021. Interested participants may register at bit.ly/PitchIt-Briefing to attend.
