Our very own Miss Universe Malaysia 2020, Francisca Luhong James, was seen at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) before leaving for Florida to take on the international stage decked in Rizman Ruzaini who designed  her official evening gown. Inspired by Sarawak folklore, Puteri Sejinjang, the dress will tell of the princess who was cursed into an island. Â
Sending her off before she conquers the stage of Miss Universe 69th Edition were her parents and team that made it all happen.
The competition will be held at the Hollywood Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on 16 May 2021.
Francisca will also be donning ‘Kampungku’ a creation by Carven Ong for the National Costume segment that weighs a whopping 45kg!   The costume, depicting elements of diverse tribal elements of Malaysia of the Dayak, Orang Asli, Orang Ulu and Malay, is ready to set the stage ablaze promoting the traditional kampung found widely in Malaysia.
